Prolecto Projects Task Coordinator

The Prolecto Project Task Coordinator consists of two major functions:

1. Projects: a Projects record concept that tracks Revenue, Job Costing and Capitalization projects. Automatically created in the background as you work with opportunities, estimates or sales orders. Projects can then be automatically linked to subsequent records.

 

2. Task Coordinator: The Project Task Coordinator is a special custom record designed to deem a transactional line as key coordination relative to status. For example, when a sales order has a drop purchase order, the copied sales order line on the purchase order line runs independently. But it effectively is the same line. Thus tracking is independent of the sales order and purchase order yet cross-referenced. Not only does it track line information, but at the header.

What It Does

The Prolecto Project Task Coordinator has two primary purposes. Expanding the concept of project to allow for participation on any transaction types allows for project boundaries to expand and be measured holistically. Furthermore, line elements that are part of sales and purchase transactions can be properly referenced and managed independent of NetSuite native transactions, giving unprecedented control and update capability.

Organizations with complex project tracking and fulfillment narratives need more control over their record management and reporting efforts.

  • Added an option to prevent locking sales order when project-related operations are happening in the background.
  • Fixed bugs related to legacy mode.
