Our first year and a half of implementing and using NetSuite was not a pleasant experience for us. We used various NetSuite consultants, many of which seemed to have more technical knowledge than accounting knowledge. This limited the resourcefulness of many of these consultants because they did not have proactive ideas on how to help us get to where we wanted to be. We were new to NetSuite. The consultants relied on us to explain to them what we wanted in our new NetSuite environment. They functioned more like robots than "consultants".
