After running the Software Development Practice for a large financial institution, Marty Zigman, former Deloitte & Touche Management Consultant and CPA, created a company called InterScore, Inc. to offer data acquisition services. There, a suite of products were created under the
PollCat Brand. The operations were expanded to take advantage of his background in Financial systems, Application Service Provider offers, and Information Technology / Software Development to provide ECommerce consulting to companies like Time Warner. InterScore worked closely with Bank of America's partner,
B3, to architect and develop a scalable eCommerce platform which provides online store and payment services for major banking institutional customers. The highly scalable system processed over $1.6 billion in order revenue in 2004 alone.
Due to Marty's success and highly profitable consulting operation, he was able to sell the company in 2000. He later became the Chief Technology Officer for YaYa Media, an innovative startup company owned by a publicly traded entity, which offered Fortune 500 clients provocative online marketing capabilities through the use of internet based games and other new media entertainment assets. While at YaYa, it became clear to Marty that major companies were seriously investing in mechanisms to collect preference and demographic information about their customers. This means that companies which actively collect information about their customers, speculate about their concerns and needs, design new and valuable products and services to meet those needs, and then target relevant communications to those customers, would simply be more competitive to companies that traditionally do not. The new era of Marketing with its means of communications and its ability to measure its effectiveness has indeed arrived.
Marty left YaYa to bring this new thinking and capability to marketplace and to build on his prior consulting company's past success. This time, through Prolecto Resources, the offer is to lower the costs to bring infrastructure, practices and high caliber talent to startup and small companies that recognize the power and potential of new mediums for communications and coordination.
